Beautiful day to fly over Melbourne
Lovely sunny 29 degrees in Melbourne today. Got the chance to buzz around the city for a couple of hours. Here are a couple of shots that I took.

Think Tank Streetwalker Harddrive Backpack
My kit now lives permanently in new "Think Tank" backpack imported from the US.
Great piece of kit. Fits about 80% of my mostly used equipment.
Nikon D800e
My new Nikon D800e has blown me away with it's incredible resolution. 36.3 megapixels is even better than I thought it would be. Absolutely stunning.
This is a 200% crop of a shot that I took during a recent corporate shoot.
Apollo Bay - September 2013
Had a chance to get away during the school holidays to Aire River which is about 25 minutes west of Apollo bay. We stayed on a farm property on the edge of the Otway State Forest. The kids had a great time and I had a chance to play with some new photographic gear.

Freeway Art.
Some of the interesting artwork along Melbourne's Freeways. Taken out of the window at 100 KM/h. I wasn't the driver.
The Big Dry
This image was taken late last year when I was running a photography course in rural Victoria. There were bushfires raging in the hills around us at time and I can't recall having seen the Victorian landscape so dry and parched. Winter quickly saw an end to that and within a few months this country was once again green and lush.
